Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead a new business segment at Mind Stretcher. The role entails working closely with the management team on building up and growing this new segment. Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth running of key functions within the business between teachers, parents, students. Success in this role looks like taking ownership in the acquisition of students, co-ordinating the development of the curriculum, supporting growth and marketing initiatives, and keeping students, parents, and centre staff happy. This is an exciting role for a candidate looking to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and create real impact for the next generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organisational goals.
- Team Management:
- Oversee the development, and performance of teachers, executives, and interns.
- Provide coaching and guidance to ensure team members meet performance objectives.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting collaboration and high levels of engagement.
- Customer Service Management:
- The candidate will be responsible for managing and improving customer service procedures, leading the customer support team, and driving customer satisfaction by implementing best practices and efficient workflows.
- Curriculum Development & Teaching:
- Collaborate with the lead curriculum developers to drive curriculum innovation and improvements.
- Conduct teaching sessions as required, ensuring alignment with organisational standards.
- Strategic Direction:
- Drive the organisation’s strategic planning process by identifying key operational improvements, executing actionable initiatives, and spearheading business development opportunities to enhance efficiency and support sustainable growth.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
- Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality across the organization.
- Workflows & SOP Documentation:
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all critical workflows.
- Ensure the adherence to and continuous improvement of these SOPs to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that drive organisational growth.
- Monitor marketing strategies and analyse performance to adjust plans as needed.
- Support in promoting courses, educational initiatives, and organisational events.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Education, Customer Service, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Customer service skills are required.
- Interest in public speaking and teaching is a plus
- 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Experienced in team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and educational practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Experience with workflow management and SOP documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
