3 Do’s and Don’ts to Ace the Chinese Composition Paper (Aug Run)

Say goodbye to losing easily awarded marks in the Chinese Paper 1 Examinations! This section carries 20% of the student’s overall grade in the PSLE , hence it is important to ensure that your child scores well for this segment. In this workshop, our head of 学汇乐, Mr Kang Jian, an experienced PSLE teacher and exam marker will be equipping your child with techniques crafted by our 学汇乐 curriculum writers.

Your child will learn the top 3 techniques to help them master the art of writing a good composition piece, such as closing the gap to score that A* in the exam. He/she will be exposed to the commonly made mistakes by his/her peers to ensure that he/she will avoid committing the same mistake in the exam and secure maximum marks to score for the composition exam.

Workshop Synopsis:

  • What are the “fatal errors” of Composition Writing?
  • How long (or short) should an A* composition writing be?
  • Will memorising good phrases really help students write a better piece of composition?
  • Why do some students always miss the A* by a few mere marks & how to close the gap?
