PROGRAMME: Academic LEVEL: Pre-Primary

Mind Stretcher Junior Campus is the pre-school arm of Mind Stretcher, providing quality pre-primary enrichment for all our students and parents.

Built on the four pillars of Critical Thinking, Public Speaking, Moral Education, and Literacy, all our pre-primary programmes seek to instil strong values in our students, equipping them to be valued 21st Century learners and citizens.

We offer six different programmes at Mind Stretcher Junior Campus.

Pre-Primary Bilingual Learning Journey (K1)
Our unique bilingual daily programme, Pre-Primary Learning Journey, allows our young pupils to build a strong foundation in both English and Chinese, or to mix and match the curriculum to suit their linguistic needs.

Pre-Primary Early English/Chinese Language Immersion Programme (N1 & N2)
Our unique language immersion programme builds a strong foundation in English/Chinese through interactive songs, activities and reading & writing exercises. Allowing our young pupils to build a strong foundation in English or Chinese, or to mix and match the curriculum to suit their linguistic needs.

P1 English & Mathematics Head Start (K1 & K2)
A weekly programme that provides a head start in Primary 1 English & Mathematics.

P1 Chinese Head Start (K1 &K2) / 小一预备 
A weekly programme that provides a head start in Primary 1 Chinese. This programme will equip students with the much-needed foundation to be competent listeners, speakers, readers and writers of the Chinese language, and pave the road ahead for the smooth learning of the language.

Pre-Primary English Phonics & Reading
A weekly programme focused on English linguistics.

Pre-Primary Chinese Vocabulary Builder (N1 & N2) / 趣味识字 
A weekly programme focused on Chinese linguistics.

Pre-Primary Chinese Hanyu Pinyin (K2 – P1) / 汉语拼音
20 hours intensive Hanyu Pinyin.

In addition to teaching young learners to read and write in Chinese, we teach them to “think in Chinese” through problem-solving and critical thinking exercises. It is essential to develop this competency at the onset, so that the young learners gain the confidence and enthusiasm to handle the rigours of Primary School Chinese.
