A Fascinating Hands-On Experience for our P2 Students!
Our P2 Junior Einstein programme is for ambitious juniors who wish to nurture their budding interest in Science and have a serious head start in the subject. Through practical sessions & fascinating experiments, students will be exposed to various Scientific concepts and principles, all of which will stand them in good stead when they officially learn the subject in MOE schools from P3 to P6.
Developed specifically to trigger the interest of young students in the fascinating world of Science, our P2 Junior Einstein Programme is an experiential learning journey . Through our engaging and hands-on curriculum, P2 students will learn Science the fun way. By getting their hands ‘dirty’ and immersing themselves in fun experiments & ‘model’ construction, our young Einsteins will be stimulated to think about the ‘hows’ and the ‘whys’ of the everyday scientific phenomena around us.

Our learning outcomes are aligned closely to those specified by the MOE for Science education in primary schools. Our teaching pedagogy has been tailored to cater to the learning needs of younger children.
The programme adopts a spiral approach where the basic facts on a subject matter is introduced first. Through time, more details are progressively added to build on pupils’ existing knowledge. At the same time, concepts are frequently revisited at levels of increasing complexity. These allow the basics to be captured in the pupils’ long-term memory and the learning of scientific concepts to match their cognitive development. The MOE Science Syllabus is covered in our Academic year and this will form a firm foundation when they proceed with their formal curriculum from Primary 3 to Primary 6.
The teaching of science in Primary 2, before they are formally taught in schools, aims to develop mental agility in our pupils. The attributes which will propel them in the further learning of science in subsequent years are nurtured in this formative programme.
