A Note from Our Head of Academics & Innovation

Why We Designed This Programme

When I was a GEP student at Nanyang Primary School (many years back now), the June holidays were a critical time to consolidate my preparation and make sure I entered the second half of the year in a good place mentally. In fact, it was this June period which boosted my momentum and eventually enabled me to score 4A* (or PSLE Score of 4 in today's context). That hasn't changed. June is still the last extended window before the PSLE sprint.

Over the years, many parents have told us they want more face time with their child's teacher, in a setting where it's easier to clarify doubts and get personalised help. This year, we've made that happen, while keeping access to the intensive bootcamp experience with our Master Teachers that has helped thousands of students over the years.

We designed the fees so that cost isn't a reason to hold back. Our regular P6 monthly fee is $261.60–$283.40 per subject for 4 weekly lessons (8 hours). For a comparable fee, the Power Up Programme gives your child 4 weekly Mastery Sprint lessons plus Power Up Bootcamps, 8 PSLE Exam Packs, Oral Distinction Workshops, guided PSLE paper walkthroughs, and more. It's significantly more support during the most critical preparation window of the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions from Parents

What is the difference between Power Up PSLE Mastery Sprints and Power Up PSLE Bootcamps?
Power Up PSLE Mastery Sprints are 4 × 2-hour small-class sessions with our P6 Mind Stretcher teachers, focused on strategic exam mastery skills. Power Up PSLE Bootcamps are full-day intensive sessions (~6 hours per subject) led by Mind Stretcher's top Master Teachers, covering consolidated revision across all key exam areas. Both use the same set of exam packs for continuity. Note: Mastery Sprints and exam packs are available for English, Maths, Science & Chinese. Higher Chinese includes the bootcamp with standalone bootcamp materials only.
Is this programme open to students new to Mind Stretcher?
Yes, the programme is open to all P6 students. Students new to Mind Stretcher can register and enjoy the same comprehensive programme. Enrolling in Mind Stretcher's weekly classes qualifies for the Mind Stretcher student rate.
Who qualifies for the Mind Stretcher student rate?
The Mind Stretcher student rate is reserved for students currently enrolled in our regular weekly programmes. It does not extend to:
  • Ex-students
  • Trial class students
  • Participants of bootcamps, short courses, workshops, or events only

If your child is not yet enrolled in a weekly programme, signing up for one will qualify them for the Mind Stretcher student rate.
What if my child only takes 1-2 subjects?
Students can sign up for any number of subjects from 1 to 4, plus Higher Chinese Bootcamp as an add-on. Multi-subject discounts apply progressively: 10% off the 2nd subject, 15% off the 3rd, and 20% off the 4th. Students who do well in PSLE tend to prepare across all their subjects, and the multi-subject discount makes it more affordable to do so.
What do I need to know about the physical bootcamp?
Online vs Physical: The bootcamp is available in both online and physical formats. Parents can opt for the physical bootcamp by topping up approximately $109 per subject. Physical runs are held at our East Campus (Tampines) and Central Campus (Toa Payoh). You can also mix formats: choose online for some subjects and physical for others. The top-up applies only to subjects you select as physical. Note: Physical locations have limited capacity, so we recommend registering early to secure your preferred run.

Transport: Not provided. Please make arrangements to bring your child to the campus.

Lunch: Lunch will be provided at around 1:30 PM for students attending the physical bootcamp, in a lunch & learn format, where students can eat while continuing to engage with lighter content. You can indicate dietary preferences in the registration form.

Breaks: There will be short breaks in between sessions throughout the day, in addition to the lunch break.
What if my child has a scheduling clash or misses a session?
Power Up Mastery Sprints: Make-up lessons can be easily arranged through the Mind Stretcher App. Lesson recordings are also made available.

Power Up Bootcamps: Each subject has 4 runs across June, so students can switch to another run if there's a clash (top-up applies if switching from online to a physical run, subject to availability). Bootcamp recordings will be provided after Run 4 (the online run), typically within 3–5 days.

Oral Distinction Workshops & Guided PSLE Paper Walkthroughs: These sessions have only one run each. If your child is unable to attend, a recording will be provided within 3–5 days after the session ends.

All recordings remain accessible till the end of the academic year.
When and where can I collect the exam packs and PSLE prep books?
Exam packs and PSLE prep books will be ready for collection at your preferred Mind Stretcher centre from the week of 25 May 2026 onwards. You will indicate your preferred collection centre in the registration form. An email notification will be sent closer to the date when materials are ready for pickup.
Can I cancel my registration if I change my mind?
All fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
