Dear Parent

Updates on MS Lessons under Phase 3 (Heightened Alert)

In line with Singapore’s move to Phase 3 (Heightened Alert) under a calibrated 2-phased reopening approach from 14 Jun 2021 (Mon), tuition and enrichment classes will be allowed to resume physical classroom lessons from 21 Jun 2021 (Mon) with enhanced safe management measures, if the situation remains under control in the coming days.

As an added precautionary measure, Mind Stretcher has decided to continue with online lessons from 14 to 30 Jun 2021. This applies to all pre-primary, primary & secondary classes (except Phonics & Reading).

That being the case, all physical classroom lessons (including Phonics & Reading) will resume at all MS Centres from 1 Jul (Thu) 2021.

Do kindly take note of the following:

1) Hardcopy Worksheets (for MS Week 30, 31 & 32)

To facilitate online learning during the period 14 to 30 Jun, the hardcopy worksheets for the following weeks have been mailed to you:

    • MS Week 30 (lessons between 14 – 20 Jun)
    • MS Week 31 (lessons between 21 – 27 Jun)
    • MS Week 32 (lessons between 28 Jun – 4 Jul)

Students who are attending physical lessons on 1 – 4 Jul (Thu – Sun) will be required to bring along the hardcopy worksheets to the centre.

Students attending our regular MS Online classes and have opted for collection of worksheets at the centres, this will resume from Week 33 onwards. You will be receiving a call from the respective MS Centres on the week of 28 Jun 2021 to pick up the worksheets. Those who have opted for mailing will continue to receive them via mail.

2) Health Declaration (when physical lessons resume)

In line with MOE’s advisory, your child will not be permitted to attend physical lessons or enter the centre if he/she:

a. has been placed on Leave of Absence (LOA) or Approved Absence (AA) by his/her school, or

b. is on Stay Home Notice (SHN), or Home Quarantine Order (HQO).

We also seek your kind understanding and cooperation to not let your child attend physical classes at our centres if he/she is having fever or respiratory symptoms, such as sneezing, coughing, loss of smell, breathlessness or sore throat. If your child displays such symptoms while in our centres, you will be contacted to bring your child to see a doctor immediately. If any family members living in the same household is unwell, do also keep your child home during this period of heightened alert.

3) Mandatory TraceTogether-only Safe Entry (TOS)

From 15 June 2021, all students aged 7 years and above are required to use TraceTogether-only Safe Entry (TOS) to enter our centres. Do ensure that your child brings along his/her TraceTogether Token to facilitate entry. Parents can also download the TraceTogether app to check in at our centres for your child.
